We’ll play games, sing songs, make crafts, and have hands-on fun while we explore maps and unlock the secrets of geography. And guess what? At the end, we’ll throw a Geography Fair where you get to show off everything you’ve learned!
🎭 The Acting Studio (Ages 8+)
In this fun and engaging class, children ages 8 and up will dive into the world of script work—studying, analyzing, and rehearsing a scene or monologue either individually or with a partner. Along the way, they’ll strengthen skills like memorization, diction, emphasis, and inflection, while building confidence and stage presence. We’ll also sprinkle in some improv games to keep things playful and help students think on their feet. The class will wrap up with a celebratory showcase where students can perform their pieces for family and friends.
🥼Science Sleuths (Ages 8+)
Join former science teacher Judy Ducharme for a 10-week science adventure packed with hands-on fun and memorable lessons! We’ll kick things off with a 4-week “whodunnit” where students use chemistry to solve a mystery. Then, we’ll welcome a special guest teacher for a 2-week dive into earth science. Finally, Judy returns for 4 more weeks to explore meteorology and physics through interactive, engaging experiments. This class is perfect for curious kids who love to ask questions and learn by doing!

Whether they’re crafting a colorful wall hanging, stitching a bookmark, or learning the basics of crochet, kids will build skills, patience, and confidence—one loop at a time. No experience necessary—just bring curious hands and a creative spirit!
📚 Adventure Readers (Ages 5-8)
Join us each week as we dive into a chapter book together! Whether your child is reading independently or prefers listening aloud, everyone is welcome in this cozy, imaginative space. We'll explore stories through discussion, games, and hands-on activities that bring the books to life. From silly characters to brave heroes, we’ll celebrate a love of reading one page at a time.
✏️ Story Builders (Ages 5-8)
In this fun and creative writing workshop, kids will become story architects! Each week, they’ll build their own stories using prompts, picture cards, and silly challenges—like writing from the perspective of a runaway sock or a talking sandwich. We’ll focus on building confidence, voice, and the joy of putting ideas into words.
🖋️ Ink & Imagination (Ages 8+)
This creative writing workshop gives kids space to explore ideas, build confidence, and experiment with their voice. Each week offers something new—whether it’s storytelling, journaling, or playful writing prompts. We’ll focus less on rules and more on self-expression, imagination, and discovering the joy of writing.
🌍 Novel Explorers (Ages 8+)
Each week we’ll journey through a thought-provoking novel—read independently outside of class —followed by meaningful group discussion and creative activities that connect to the story. We’ll explore themes, characters, and big ideas in an age-appropriate way that sparks curiosity and builds comprehension. Great for readers who love books and those still warming up to them.
